Pertinacious Coffee Co. started out of a home in Plaza Midwood, a small neighborhood in Charlotte, NC. Friends filled the living room, connecting and sharing ideas while enjoying handcrafted coffee. The founder, Emma Layman, a professional barista, wanted to do more than just bring quality coffee to others. She also wanted to recreate the experience felt in her living room throughout Charlotte and surrounding areas. A mobile version of Pertinacious Coffee Co. was born.
